Be Daring, Use Audacity!

You have probably at least heard of Audacity, the free sound recording and editing software. It is an excellent, easy and free way to record voice messages or podcasts which can be emailed, posted on a Website or you can edit songs to cut out words or shorten or lengthen them. It looks and works very much like a regular (hate to say it) old tape recorder.
There is one hurdle to jump before you can make it work after download though. You have to download the "lame" file separately and then the first time, and only the first time, you export a file you have to browse to that "lame" file to indicate where it is. The best place to put the "lame" file is in the folder with the program or application.


Lame File and Instructions (Download and save it into the Program/Applications folder. You will have to locate it once only the first time you export a file.)
