SOSSIG's Official Moodle

Since Moodle was to be placed under a committee at the last meeting, the old Moodle (authored and administered by Ken Task) has been moved.  The new Moodle committee (or SOSSIG Officers) will have to build the Offical SOSSIG Moodle from scratch.

While it was nice of our parent organization (TCEA) to provide us with a re-purposed (better) server it is still a little under-powered for multiple, heavily hit Moodles for SOS members.  There has been no "offical" decision concerning the use of Moodle(s) containing actual students from various ISD's.  Therefore, IF, a Moodle is installed for SOSSIG Member use, I'd strongly suggest it's usage be limited to collaborative efforts to develop courses for installation IN an ISD, Professional Development (like http://dev.tcea.org/), or in training each other in the use of open source applications.
